What SEO-ready actually means

An SEO-ready website has a foundation that helps search engines access and understand its pages and helps people use them. The phrase is not a universal certification. Ask the provider to list the actual deliverables rather than treating it as a magical ingredient sprinkled into the code.

Google’s SEO Starter Guide explains that there is no automatic route to first place. A new site may still need useful content, discovery, improvements and time. Technical readiness is a starting point, not a reservation at the top of the results.

What to check in the foundation

Ask for a clear page title and description, logical headings, working internal links, readable mobile layouts and meaningful alternative text for informative images. Public pages should be accessible to crawlers and should not accidentally carry a noindex instruction. HTTPS and sensible image sizes are also part of a dependable website.

For a site with multiple pages, discuss canonical URLs and a sitemap. These help communicate the intended pages, but submitting a sitemap is not an indexing guarantee. Structured data can describe suitable content when it accurately matches the page; it is not a secret ranking button.

On Webzy, the basic search-ready foundation covers titles and descriptions, semantic headings, mobile responsiveness, image alt text and indexability checks. Confirm the exact scope for your project before starting.

Your content still needs to answer something

Write for a real customer with a real question. Explain what you offer, who you serve, what it costs or how quotes work, and why your approach fits. A page about ‘affordable excellence and innovative solutions’ could belong to a plumber, a software company or a particularly ambitious kettle.

Give distinct services distinct explanations where useful. Use original examples and accurate details. Do not publish dozens of nearly identical location pages or repeat a keyword until the prose starts making fax-machine noises. Review content when your business changes.

What a separate SEO setup can include

More deliberate SEO work can include mapping topics to pages, rewriting titles and descriptions, improving the service copy and setting up tools to monitor search visibility. At Webzy, the optional ₹3,000 SEO setup covers up to five pages; local visibility setup is ₹2,000. Ongoing SEO starts at ₹5,000 per month with a separately agreed scope.

These services are different from simply building the site. Ask which pages and tasks are included, what you need to supply and how progress will be reported. Webzy Plus includes Search Console setup; do not assume every package includes every add-on. Check the current package details before comparing prices.

Local search needs accurate business information

For eligible businesses, a complete and accurate Google Business Profile can support local discovery. Google’s local-ranking guidance describes relevance, distance and prominence as key considerations. A website alone cannot control all of those factors.

Keep your business details consistent and useful. Show the area you actually serve, explain services clearly and keep opening hours accurate. Invite honest customer feedback without inventing it. A pile of keywords is not a substitute for being a real, helpful business.

Measure useful progress

Track whether the right pages are discoverable, which queries lead to impressions and clicks, and whether visitors take relevant actions such as making an enquiry. Separate visibility from enquiries and enquiries from actual sales. They are connected, but they are not interchangeable.

There is no responsible fixed ranking timetable for every website. Agree on the work, the reporting interval and what counts as progress. Start with pages that answer customer questions, then improve them using evidence. The goal is a useful site that the right people can find. The confetti can wait.
